An integrated thematic unit combining family haeritage with national heritage for 5th grade. Our family's culture, customs, and traditions define our individual heritage. At some point in a family's history all of us were immigrants to America. It is a defining aspect of America. The colonization of America has brought together many diverse cultures, ideas, and people. Our national heritage is made up of contributions of different cultural groups.
