An Integrated, Interdisciplinary Thematic Unit on an Introduction of the United States Unless we are Native American, each of us had ancestors that came to the
United States for various reasons. They often brought part of their cultures
with them. In this unit students will gain more insight into the Diversity of the
United States, its people, geography, and industry. They will learn that
although we are diverse, there are elements which unify our nation.
