From She-Bop To Hip-Hop

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit of the Political and Cultural Tones of the 1980's A quick overview of the issues of the 1990s leads one to discover the origins of those issues in the 1980s. Students will explore what society has labeled as the "Me Generation." Students will study the rapid scientific, technological, political, and cultural changes of the 1980s and will be able to draw conclusions and create informed opinions about current political and social issues. "Those who are ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it."
