An Integrated, Interdisciplinary Thematic Study of Communication in Ancient Greece and Rome. An Integrated, Interdisciplinary Thematic Study of Communication in Ancient Greece and Rome. Students need to know and understand how the influence of Greek, and Roman culture forms the basis of modern communication. In particular, students should connect present oral and written languages with their Latin and Greek origins. Furthermore, students will need to recognize alternative forms of communication used by all peoples throughout time.
