Gaining Insight to Move Successfully Into the 21st Century Man has been and will continue to be a social creature who is shaped through his interactions with others. Human interaction results in social transformation, often redefining standards and expectations of daily life, and even though society has often been transformed, cyclic patterns tend to reoccur. This unit will explore social changes from 1957 to 1997 in an attempt to learn from recent history, the skills and insights required to move successfully into the 21st century.
