From the Land of the Free and the Home of the Braves, to Natives with Reservations on the Trail of Tears

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary unit for 7th graders of the Native Americans of North America from the American Revolution through the Indian Wars. This unit was developed to introduce 7th grade social studies students to the treatment of Native Americans of North america by settlers, the reasons for the treatment, and the results of the treatment by the American government.
