From Uncle Tom to Farrakhan "We Have a Dream"

An integrated inter/intradisciplinary thematic study of Black History It is important to understand how the contributions of all races and cultures enhance our daily lives. This unit is designed to provide students with background knowledge of obstacles faced by African Americans and how those obstacles are overcome. The essential focus of this unit is to expose students to the purpose and orgins of Black History month.
