From Working on the Line...To Working Online, or...To Beep or not to Beep? That is the question...of the 21st Century

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, thematic 8th grade unit on the technological developments made throughout history and their impact on society since the mid-18th Century and into the future. This unit was developed to introduce 8th grade students to technological developments made throughout history, look at the implications those developments have made on society and our environment, and to predict how technology may affect our future.
