An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on Water in Colorado and the West. Water use and conservation is one of the most critical issues facing Colorado and the West today. Water removed the idea of "remote" and "frontier" to make Colorado a viable region. This interdisciplinary unit will enhance students understanding of human interdependence with water and the importance of water in the past, present, and future of the West
