An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Study of the Renaissance for Grade 5 Many of the values, attitudes, and sensibilities possessed by modern people have their roots in the rich and diverse cultures of the Renaissance. This unit provides fifth graders the opportunity to explore this time of "rebirth" beyond just dates and names of explorers, artists, inventors, and leaders into the "why."
