Help! We're Snowed Under!

A Second Grade Thematic, Integrated/ Interdisciplinary Unit. Polar Regions represent unique habitats. At first they seem utterly barren and devoid of life, frozen wastelands. On closer inspection the communities of these habitats include distinct life forms and complex groups of interdependent organisms. Our students need to develop an awareness of the value of Polar Regions' natural resources as they prepare to become stewards of the earth.
