An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on Ancient Greece For Use in 6th Grade The study of Ancient Greece is important because what happened then influences us now. The literature, philosophy, government, art, and architecture all have a direct correlation to our world today. At the conclusion of this unit, students will be able to identify these connections, analyze values and customs, recognize cultural values, make judgements about them, and understand that some experiences are universal.
