Hit The Road, Jack!

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary Thematic Unit of the Westward Expansion of the United States. This unit enabled the students to recognize the importance of Westward expansion in the United States and explores the effects that westward expansion had on America. Areas studied include effects of the railroad, cattle drives, and the "wild west."
