How to Make Friends and Influence Ogres and Aardvarks

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic, Standards-based Unit on Language Arts Students will discover the nature and benefit of making friends. They will explore friendships through discussions of the following areas: ways in which people are alike and different and ways in which differences in people enrich our lives, recognizing a friend, people's needs and mutual dependencies, what kind of things bond people together, and conflict resolution.
