An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic, Standards-based Unit on the Cultural Change in Imperial China brought about by Human Resources This unit will examinee the reasons why Imperial Chinese civilization developed and changed. This unit is important because it will explore how and why Chinese civilization arose as well as how this civilization evolved. This unit will teach the students that there are many factors that can create change in a society. It is also important because it will help students understand that life is not static and that change is constant, which is important knowledge in our rapidly evolving world. This lesson will also help the students understand that change is often a good thing that improves life, but can sometimes lead to unforeseen consequences. Overall this lesson will introduce the students to the unseen forces that will influence change in their own lives.
