If I Only Had A Brain...Or Brainshopping On the QVC
An integrated, interdisciplinary thematic unit on the brain This is the "Decade of the Brain". Our collective knowledge and understanding of the brain and how it works is deeply lacking. Recent advances and new research in neuroscience and Brain-Based Learning are compelling changes in the way teachers teach. If we can determine how we best learn (identification of learning styles, multiple intelligences, left/right brain dominance, personal environmental preferences), we can more effectively maximize our learning potential and increase our understanding of ourselves and others.
