If You're Down to Earth, You Should Be Up for Change

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic, Standards-based Unit on the Earth and its features. The Earth has been affected by numerous factors including its composition, tectonic plates, weathering agents, and human impact that create a continual state of change. By studying the various changes in the Earth's make-up, students will acquire the insight as to how the processes work and the consequences those changes have on the Earth's inhabitants. By gaining an understanding of human impact on the Earth, students can make informed decisions about the preservation and conservation of the Earth.
