An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic, Standards-based Unit on Terrorism Terrorism may be the largest threat to our safety, liberty and property. While seen as a modern issue, terrorism is, in fact, thousands of years old. The essential concepts covered in this unit are the political, social and economic effects of terrorism upon society.
