I'm Off to See the Lizard but... You Can't Grow Home Again

An Integrated/Interdisciplinary Thematic Study of the Vanishing Rain Forest More than half of the world's plant and animal species live in the rain forest. These extensive ecosystems are being threatened. If the rain forest continues to be destroyed, many spiecies of interdependent plants and animals will be lost forever. Students will gain an awareness of the rain forest as an abundant habitat for plants and animals as well as the rain forest's value and efforts to preserve the rain forest.
