In their desire to accomplish their goals, people have used the power of persuasion. Especially in today's technologically advanced society, governments, religious leaders, educators, businessmen, etc. use persuasion to achieve their goals. Students need to develop the skills to identify, interpret, and analyze persuasive techniques so they can delineate between fact and opinion.
