An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on Developing Self Esteem and Eliminating Prejudice This unit is designed to develop self esteem and eliminate prejudice. Self esteemmay be the mainstream to elimination of prejudice. Elimination of prejudice is vital to our planet's survival. If one student becomes more harmonious, this unit will be successful. This unit will expose students to the undercurrent of prejudice that is embedded in even the simplest of stories/songs, i.e. Dumbo/Barney.
