An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Study of the Democratic Process of Government for Grades 5 & 6. The democratic processes unit was developed to enable fifth and sixth grade students to examine the principles of monarchal, democratic, and dictatorial types of governments and to explore the extent to which governments reflect those principles.
