Let's Get Physical" "Every movement or action involves energy of some form or another"
An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic study of the transfer of energy through conduction, convection and radiation. The California State Science Content Standards state that sixth grade students need to understand the following concepts in physical science:
-Energy can be carried from one place to another by heat flow or by waves, including water, light, and sound waves, or by moving objects.
-Students know that when fuel is consumed, most of the energy released becomes heat energy
-Students know heat flow in solids by conduction and in fluids by conduction, by convection, and by radiation.
