Life in Colonial America or "We Did It Our Way", George

  • $5.50

An Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit About Colonial Life in America. The colonial period in American history shaped the beginnings of our country as a young democratic nation. As students study and learn about the period they will understand the religious, political, and economic factors that led to this nation's distinct cultural regions (New England, Middle, and Southern) as well as the daily lives of the different groups that made up colonial society. Understanding these factors, regions, and lives will "set the stage" for the conflict with England and the Revolutionary War to follow.
