Life's Most Wanted Character(istics) Reward 10,000 Ways to Be a Better person or Developing Pupils with Scrupples

An Integrated/Interdisciplinary thematic unit developing ethics. This interdisciplinary/integrated unit is based on our observation of the failure of deaf and hard of hearing high school students/graduates to develop the life skills and make choices that result in input inherent in their handicap, character development can be delayed. Very often skills that develop naturally from language input in hearing children are absent in our students. They lack empathy, respect for rules, intimacy, trust, integrity, open-mindedness, accountability, acceptance, and respect for others to name a few.
