Tudoring from 1558-1606: An Interdisciplinary Study of the Elizabethan Age. This unit is designed for 9th and 10th grades as an integrated, thematic, and interdisciplinary study of Elizabethan Period 1558-1603. Elizabeth I belonged to the powerful Tudor family who rules England for over 100 years. This period is characterized by the ruling of a strong female monarch, the writing of important literary works, the devastating effects of diseases, and the destructive abuses of the common people. This unit will address these areas and attempt to give insight into a number of issues which have current and future implications.
