Little Strokes Fell Great Oaks or Why the American Colonists saw the need for Revolution and how they Vanquished the Mightiest Power on Earth

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary Thematic Grade Unit about America's Struggle for Independence This unit was developed to introduce fifth grade students to: 1) understand the opposing viewpoints which led to the Revolutionary War, 2) the impact of North America's geography on the Revolution, 3) appreciate the colonial daily life, and 4) gain an understanding of a growing sense of America's personal freedom.
