Me, My Cell, And I

An interdisciplinary unti for grades 5-7 exploring cells and genetics. Cells are the building blocks of all living organisms. This unit will teach students to examine the development from single cells to organisms. Students will explore environmental influences on an organism's survival. Genetic engineering will be introduced enabling students to formulate moral and ethical decisions regarding technological advances.
