From the simplest concepts of mass, weight, force, speed, velocity and resistance, as well as Newton's Laws of Motion we have explanations for many of students' favorite pastimes, such as riding roller-coasters, shooting fireworks, skateboarding, snowboarding, shooting a basketball, etc. Students will learn that the physics of motion that so entertains us has other important uses as well, such as in weaponry, transportation and communications.
