Mystory, Herstory, History. A Class Act in the Study of Communities and Citizenship.
An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on Respectful Living. The students will learn about various communities and how each is complementary to one another. Through understanding that many parts contribute to creating the whole of a community, the students will develop a greater concept of the importance of cooperation among community members. They will learn that communities can thrive with a past, present, and future when everyone pitches in and participates, making the world a better place. Students will gain an awareness of their history and be more equipped to imagine different futures.
