Nemo's Voyage to the Seven Continents: Integrated, interdisciplinary unit on world culture and geography.

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic, Standards-based Unit on World Cultures and Geography First graders will travel around the world in our unit about the seven continents. As they experience different activities they will discover how much they are like children from totally different cultures. They will also discover the unique ways in which they differ in lifestyle, education, and traditions. This unit will greatly broaden their world view and help them understand that the world is very diverse and countries have a great deal to offer each other.
