No Man is an Island Unto Himself or A Friend in Need is a friend "IN DEED"

An Integrated Interdisciplinary Thematic Unit on Friendship - Third Grade Having friends is one of the greatest concerns of elementary age youngsters. Studens begin to discover what they think a friend should be. They experience the joys of friends and the heartbreak of losing friends. Getting along with others, working cooperatively, and communicating are essential in our society. In this unit, students will develop an understanding of what makes a good friend and the Diversity involved in friendships.
