An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Study of the Rain Forest Earth's rain forests are treasure-houses that are being destroyed. Inside earth's oldest ecosystem, the rain forest, as much as two-thirds of all land based animals and plants can be found. The ancient tribes, customs, cultures, and detailed knowledge of the rain forest is threatened. This unit will teach students the value of preserving the rain forest with a proactive point of view.
