An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic, Standards-based Unit on The Rainforests of the World, with a focus on The Amazon Rainforest This unit is an important first step in developing critical thinking skills. Students will be taught to: analyzing interdisciplinary areas through the study of the Rainforest. compare/contrast various concepts of the rainforest make extensions and connections. Addresses diverse learning styles and meet the needs through the use of differential instruction. Addresses NJCCCS in all area of the curriculum (Language Arts, Mathematics, Interdisciplinary Studies)
