Ode on a Grecian Learned "Beauty is truth, truth beauty"

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on Greek culture and mythology The study of the unit is significant because the ancient Greek civilization is the birthplace of Western civilization. Students will learn of the roots of democratic government. They will learn the important figures who even today are part of the study of philosophy. Students will also understand the origin of the Olympic games and the more popular stories of Greek mythology and how many characters are a part of present day cultural literacy.
