Oh, Say Can You See By The Dawn's Early Light Or How To "Bill" the Right Writs

  • $5.50

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit for 9th Grade Students Exploring Human Rights We are citizens with responsibilities and rights. Consequently, we need to be able to exercise good citizenship and respect, tolerance, and kindness. Further, we must capitalize on opportunities. (Bill of Rights: religion, speech, press, assembly, petition).

The students in our district have very little exposure to multiculturalism. Teachers need to help students see themselves as a part of the global community. In order for this vision to become clear, they must learn to tolerate people of diversified races, cultures, abilities, etc.

Human rights will be explored through the Bill of Rights, physical and learning disabilities, and ethnic/racial issues.
