Only in America you are the government, he is the government, she is the government, we are the government OR –3 branches in time makes 4 + 9.”
An Integrated Interdisciplinary Unit on the US Constitution The US Constitution is the framework of the nationês government; it is the single document that serves as the supreme law of the land. Students will learn how the Constitution came into being, understand the six main goals outlined in the Preamble, define the three branches of government, delineate the powers and limits of each branch; state the basic rights and freedoms guaranteed to each individual. Students will also see the Constitution as a living document, providing for an amending process. Additionally, students will explore the relevancy of the Constitution in their lives and their rights and responsibility to participate in the political process.
