O'Pioneers...They Kept Movin' Movin' Movin From Ma & Pa Ingalls to John Wayne
An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Fourth Grade Study of the Westward Movement. This unit was developed to introduce fourth grade students to:
1) the reasons why the pioneers moved west;
2) the lifestyle and attitudes of the pioneers;
3) the development of communication/technology;
4) the growth of government throughout the west.
