Over the Mountains and Down the Rivers to the Cape Henry Lighthouse We Go.

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic unit on the Five Geographic Regions of Virginia. The unit allows students to develop a greater understanding of Virginia's 5 geographical regions. Important water features, the bordering states, natural resources, major products, major industries, and the native tribes of the regions have been addressed. Students will utilize geographic tools to examine the influence of physical and cultural geography on Virginia history.
