An integrated, interdisciplinary, thematic unit of Florida's Native American Tribes This unit employs an integrated, thematic approach to study Native American tribes in early Florida. This unit studies the Timucua, Appalachee, Tocobaga, Calusa and Seminole Tribes. Students will learn the impact of these tribes on the development and culture of Florida.
