An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on Historic Nebraska The study of Nebraska History should be an integral part of the knowledge for Nebraska's fourth graders. Nebraska students should be aware of their state's geographical features, water ways, weather, and influential people so they can identify how the past molded and shaped what Nebraska is today.
