Plot a Course for the Rain Forest
An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on the Rain Forest With the present decline of the rain forest, comes a major dilemma for the people living today. Although a lot of products come from the rain forest that are beneficial, it is becoming extinct and causing detrimental changes in that environment as well the world. So the question is: can we keep this ecosystem and use it too?
Within this unit, we plan on providing an overall awareness of the rainforest (what it is, where it is, who/what is there, why it is important), it's many attributes, effects of it's decline, and what can be done to balance the beneficial and detrimental ways that humans use the environment to ensure preservation of this ecosystem.
