An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit Exploring Algebraic Thinking Throughout the Content Areas. Algebraic thinking is a building block to critical thinking. Algebraic thinking begins before ""Pre-Algebra"" in that it is a process/approach to problem solving -- reaches students who may not use problem solving from earlier taught methods. Extends across curriculum and into real life decision making. The focus for ""content"" will be building background knowledge and comprehension levels.
