Pop goes the easel!

An integrated intradisciplinary thematic unit on the effect of pop culture and the arts The students will learn about the transformation of new art movements beginning in the 1950's. This will include Pop Art, Op Art, Minimalism, Hard Edge Painting, Photo Realism, Decorative Art, and Furniture Design. Students will become familiar with famous artists of each movement and demonstrate their understanding through projects in each area.
