Prohibition: Good or B-B-B Bad to the Capone?

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Study of Prohibition for High School Students. In the early 1900's, the U. S. government bowed to pressure from Temperance groups and outlawed the use and sale of alcohol. This unit is designed to give students a basic understanding of the political, social, economic, and ethical impact of Prohibition. The students should understand the impact of marketing illegal products in today's world.
