Rain, Forest, Rain "Ask Not What Your Forest Can Do For You, Ask What You Can Do For Your Forest."

An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit on the Rain Forest for Grade 4. The Rainforest is a delicately balanced ecosystem which supports many of the world's plant and animal species. The Rainforest is being destroyed at an alarming rate. This destruction is having a negative effect on the Earth's climate and threatening many of these plants and animals with extinction. This unit will familiarize the students with the characteristics of the Rainforest, the reasons why it is being destroyed and ways in which we can work to save it.
