Rainforest: Survivor... or Voted out of the Ecosystem?

An integrated, interdisciplinary, thematic unit of rainforests grade 7. The rainforest is vital to life across the globe. Students will identify the important components of the rainforest that interact with the valuable resources it provides for the world's inhabitants. Since the rainforest is being rapidly destroyed, the students will appreciate the intricate balance of the symbiotic relationships within the rainforest.
