Reflections of a Multicultural World or Sea Ewe, See Me

An Integrated Interdisciplinary Thematic Unit on Multicultures of the World for 4th Grade Students This fourth grade unit will be developed to help students understand the importance of multiculturalism and its connection to their lives. All students will have the opportunity to investigate and differentiate world cultures. They will comprehend and apply high level thinking through a variety of activities. After completing this unit students will gain an understanding of the complexity and interrelationships of the cultures of the world. Students will gain an insight to understanding others. Students will explore, among other things, a variety of foods, music, religion, dress, values, and customs.
