Saturday in the Park I think it was the 4th of July

An integrated thematic unit on National Parks of the Southwest for Third Grade. Only a small percentage of wilderness areas remain in the United States. Farmers, ranchers, developers, constantly seek new land and/or new uses for land. If all national parks disappear, what will happen to endangered and other native species? Can we justify expenses (for upkeep, etc.)? What about over uses?
