An Integrated/Interdisciplinary Thematic Standards-Based Unit about Ocean Life and How we can conserve and preserve its Beauty and Resources Considering that the ocean covers seventy percent of the Earth, it is essential that we understand the impact of the ocean on our quality of life involving transportation, recreation, technological advances, food sources, and aesthetic needs. In this unit, the students will learn about the interdependent relationships they have with the ocean and the preservation and conservation of one of our most important resources.
